
This flowering herb (aka Anise Hyssop)produces masses of purple flower spikes. Full deep-green foliage that emit a potent anise black-licorice scent when crushed. The Hyssop leaves can be used as a flavoring for cooking or for tea.
Makes an excellent cut flower.
Acts as a biennial and self-sows readily on open prairie like ground. Hardy to zone 4.
